FAQs
Q How do I clean
my wig?
A Brush the wig thoroughly,
then add wig shampoo to wash basin and fill with cool water. Let
the wig soak for 5 minutes. Swish the wig gently around the basin
NEVER RUB, then rinse gently in cool clear water a couple of times
or until thoroughly rinsed. Apply wig conditioner
and gently work through hair with fingertips, then rinse thoroughly
with cool water, unless you are using a spray on leave in conditioner. Dab gently with a towel DO NOT WRING.
Allow to air dry on a wig stand or head. DO NOT USE A HAIRDRYER ON SYNTHETIC WIGS. Brush wig only when
it is completely dry.
Q How often should
I wash my wig?
A Every 2-3 weeks if worn regularly, or when
you feel it needs freshening up.
Q How do I style
my wig?
A Your wig can be styled by
using a wig brush or your fingertips. Your wig was designed with a basic style but the variations
you can achieve through styling are limitless. Added height can be achieved
by gently lifting with the brush. If you want added fullness as well,
tease or back comb and then smooth the surface hair over. To
return your wig to its basic style simply brush thoroughly, clean and allow
to air dry.
Q What is the difference
between human hair and synthetic hair?
A Human hair: more versatility,
longer durability, you can use straighteners (CAUTION: GHD's are too hot for this, no heat over 180 should be used) or tongs, custom styling and colouring available. Synthetic: easy to maintain as you can just wash and wear it, less
expensive than human hair, easy to style, pre styled.
Q What is Monofilament
Wig?
A A monofilament wig is the
cap within the wig that has been hand tied with a special two layer construction for maximum comfort and worry-free wearing. The monofilament
construction is comfort enhanced by a special weaving technique,
which results in excellent ventilation and you are able to see your scalp through the top, giving a more natural look. |
